Vibration

Hi everyone, new to this forum. Just purchased a 04 FX35 AWD for the winter and so far I am loving it! Anyways, I have been trying to fix this vibration in my steering wheel for a couple of weeks now and I cannot seem to get it.

I was getting major vibration when I purchased the car, so I took it to a mechanic, and had it looked at. Turns out the right bearing/hub was bad. Replaced that. Now the vibration diminished but was still noticeable. After that, I did a alignment(tech told me alignment was terrible) as well as a balance and the vibration is still there at highway speeds only. Here is where I am lost, and do not know where to even look. The tech told me the only thing bad was my rear rotors/front right hub.

Can anyone provide details on what else could cause vibration , or any known issues with these infiniti..

Thanks!

PS: I am running on Pirerlli Scorpion ATR brand new.

90% of Fx owners have and still do experience this. Might want to check steering fixed thread (where you adjust the rack bolt). Next thing might want to get ur tires road force balanced

Isn't there some bolt somewhere underneath that you just turn it a half turn and it solves this issue? I have to look for the thread, but wanted to bring it up now in case someone knows what I'm talking about.

Assuming that this link is what I need. Gonna try it and post back. Thanks for the info guys..

Can't post links yet but its the one with the steering rack bolt that you turn 1/8 near the drivers side wheel

Also check that there is no play in your control arm ball joints. I had the same issue, I did a road force balance, alignment, I adjusted the rack bolt, replaced wheel bearing, rotated tires, changed wheels and I was still getting vibration at highway speeds. It turned out to be bad ball joints, I would have never guessed they would cause that sort of vibration.
