Vettel "like" LEDs

So I swore off not to use LEDs but I saw a friends G37 the other day with the Philips Daylight 8 LED installed and they look just as good as the OEMs on the B'mmers or Mercs.

Problem is , because the way our fog lights are placed there is not room to install them properly, or is there ? On the Vettel edition, they took out the fog light housing, replaced the bottom lip with a different shape one, and then installed the LEDs where the fog housing used to be... Wondering if there is a way to do this without doing too much damage to the panels etc. Ideas ?

Has to be completely custom like how Bert did it.

Bert's ride looks sick with those LED's, best way to do it is custom like he did. Doesn't look good just tacked on IMO

Definitely not tacked on. If it was somehow part of the car.. we need to get our hands on the Vettel edition body kit :P

Bert's FX looks sick! If you're gunna implement an LED strip, I would suggest using something OEM from another car. Usually a better quality design and reliability. The strips they sell on eBay are cheap stuff made in China, will burn out or get water inside, and probably look blue, not a pure white

would you guys be able to do something close to the SV fx or more towards bert's fx ?

Philips Daylight 8 LED I saw are pure white and have light output as good as OEM Mercs, they cost $250 so this is defintely not cheap ebay crap.
I am more concerned with the placement of the LEDs, sticking them beside license plate looks tacky. They should be like on the Vettel edition placed where the oem FX fog housing is.

Has anyone tried putting the Philips 8 LED in the space between the license plate and fog lights? Pics?

TIA

Never liked the LEDs on the vettel FX. They need to incorporate them into the bumper better (see Bert's fx).
