this is probably the closest encounter ive ever had in a motor collision and or possibly death. i am so thankful me and my friends are unharmed because it could have been very ugly.

We were coming back from the casino around 2am and we were very up north so the highway was small (2 lanes on each side) and there were no lights. i had just turned off my highbeams because there was some on-coming traffic...all of a sudden i saw a car sideways on the road and i had to swirve to the left to miss it, right infront were two other cars crashed against the guard rail so i had to swirve once more to avoid them and once more so i did not fly off the road. it was on the highway so it was at a fairly high speed (110 km/h) and the car did not even hesitate and helped my thru the sharp turns and swives with somewhat ease...i could feel the AWD and VDC helping me along the way. right after me another car...a pontiac grand pris was not so fortunate and hit one of the crashed cars....it was a very bad accident to say the least and it closed off the entire highway taking up all the lanes.

i was so shaken up i could barely stand because i was furiously shaking...we waited for the cops and ambulances to come after we made sure everyone was in OK condition and then we were on our way....one of the drivers had been drinking:mad:

just thought id share this...im thankful that me and my best friends are ok and hope the people involved in the collision are ok..:iS:

Nothing like have a sharp mind and a good vehicle in those unfortuniate times. Thanks to the man up stairs that you and everyone is alright. Be careful out there man.

Driver of the Year!

 wow! Glad you guys are alright! Great quick thinking and focus seemed to get you out of that one, and a great car to help as well.

Yes, Great to hear you are you good and it's good to know that the AWD actually hleped you manouver and avoid any harm to you or your friends..

yo...thats exactly what i was thinking.
lol I literally told my roommate when that commercial came on that something like that was impossible. The way the guy steered INTO the falling concrete pipes as opposed to away from it, and avoided the whole thing... I guess your Hollywood stunt-driver style proves me wrong. Good job on the reflexes, I did something similar in my friend's Lexus in a snow storm on the way to Chicago, and I must admit that luck plays a large role in these kinds of things... luckily the FX did exactly what you told it to do

Glad you & your friends are ok - nice to hear the safety features do work.

brown, glad to hear the FX quite possibly saved your life. Good thing you did not have a pontiac.
