Guys,
I'm interested in a NISMO exhaust system (mid-pipe, muffler, and extension) that I found on another forum, and I'm trying to figure out what would be a good price to pay/offer for the exhaust that would be fair for both parties.

It is in excellent condition, with no dents, scratches, or holes (according to the pics and seller).

So if you were in my shoes (or the seller's) what would you be willing to pay (or accept)?

Thanks! I've requested that the seller email more pics so that I may closely examine the welds.

Those are expensive new. It really depends how desperate he is willing to get rid of it. If he doesn't a price posted, maybe offer $500 local pickup? At worst, he would tell you no.

not sure if you are aware: for the nismo exhaust to fit properly on the fx, u must extend the tips from the exhaust.

seems like it's in great shape. good luck.

Yeah, I knew that and inquired at the dealership about a good exhaust shop to do the work. One of the techs there has a nicely modified G35, so I usually request him whenever I'm in.

As it turns out, the muffler was clogged (with what, I don't know), and the seller is having an exhaust shop check it out to see if it can be repaired. I just decided that it would be best for me to pass on it altogether.

maybe a good idea to move on
