Will a 350z or G35 automatic transmission work in a 2003 fx35? I have to replace my trans and I can fine a lot more of those trans used for less money. If so what years would work.

For your '03, you'd have to get one from an '03 or early '04. In 04.5, they changed the TCM from a separate unit to integrated with the transmission. Then they changed it again in '06 I think. And make sure you get one from a RWD model, some G's are AWD as well and the output shaft is different.
 
Thanks for the info. It looks like I can't use the early g35's. Thay have a different plug setup than the FX's. The 350z have the right plug and can find them at a good price.
