use G35 disc to upgrade ?

I have the 2003 FX35, don't know the version.
my brother in law just bought a 2008 G35X, in navi in his car looks real fancy..
so, can I use his disc come from the G to upgrade the navi on my FX ?

my FX has the Navi and DVD, so where should I put the disc in?

please give me some advice.
