Looking for help with adding a USB Connection on my 2008 FX35

I did a similar upgrade on my car — depending on what you're looking for, you've got a few options.
If it's just for charging, you can tap into the 12V power and install a USB port in the center console.
But if you’re looking for audio (like playing music from your phone or using CarPlay), I’d recommend something like a GROM unit or a plug-and-play kit from AerisAuto that adds USB and Bluetooth input.
Most FX models are compatible without any complicated wiring.
Since I wanted full CarPlay functionality, I went with the AerisAuto setup and it works great.
