I noticed a least one or more members over @ org has "Unichip" under their sig...

autoanything.com sells them:

http://www.autoanything.com/performance-chips/61A2776A0A0A1860386.aspx

but what's weird is... I went straight to their website (unichip's), and they don't have one listed for the FX... and even replied with a "sorry, but we don't offer one for your car at the moment" when I requested for info.

Do you guys know anything about this? Is this worth it?

(reminder, I can't log in over @ org, otherwise I'd ask those guys over there that's got the unit)

The unichip is a piggyback engine management solution. There are different series Unichips so depending on the series interface and how well it works will differ.

I'm not sure the full functionality of the Unichip being used with the APS forced induction kits but it should allow for timing and fuel control to maximize power across the rpm band.

Downside of this engine management is going to be the tuning which can only be done by a Unichip authorized dealer. Not that anyone would want to tune their own vehicle, but you're tied into using their dealer network.

Back from the dead but Unichip does have a piggy back programmer for our FX35s (part #2340041)...I. Just debating over it. The guy was very helpful on the phone and appeared to know alot about our cars.

The UNICHIP is much more than just a "chip". In actual fact it is a fully functioning computer that is added to the engine’s existing engine control unit (ECU). Apart from controlling general timing and mixtures it can do idling control, drive extra injectors, do various forms of boost control, eliminate road-speed governors, calibrate speedometers, fully control nitrous and water injection, create road-speed governors, raise or lower the rev limiter on most engines etc. It can be best described as a "Piggyback" computer.

Nope, and their website seems pretty much worthless right now. I'd like to see a definitive page for the FX35 specifically first.
