undercarriage parts

2006 FX35 AWD
Does anyone know where I can get this part (the rusted "w" shaped piece) from used or new (cheap)? This is from the undercarriage of a 2006 fx35. Seems to be a crossmember?

I believe there are three parts listed for what you want to replace. Here's a link to Infiniti's official parts site. The suggested price is $100 for each side and $300 for the middle section. You're still going to have to check with the dealer for confirmation but I believe the parts are 1. member cross front part #75211CG000, 2. reinforce front side member RH part #75128CG000, and 3. reinforce front side member LH part #75129CG000

Btw. I am in Vancouver and do not drive very often in the wet or snow but mine has rust on these parts. Not quite as bad as you have photographed.
 
So the part number is 74870-CG000. It's called the "tunnel stay assembly". SRP is ~$300, but a couple of online places have it for $205. i see used ones on ebay going for $135 to $200 including shipping. However some of them are supposed to be for Nissan 350z or Infiniti G35's but they all look to be the same. the 350Z's part number is slightly different - 74870-CD200, but cosmetically it appears to be the same. Anyone know if they are indeed the same part, but just different part numbers?

Also it seems easy for a DIY. Has anyone replaced theirs? looking for any pointers
 
I have not. But do you know if the similar looking part (74870-CD200) from a 370z will fit ours?
