Will any type of paint work in the housing? I recently did my wheels with a textured spray bedliner. I love it. I may do the grill next. I want to know if it will work inside the headlights to match or will it be too hot?

any special temp rating needed for headlights? Not sure how hot HIDs get

I'd like to chime in. Sprayed bedliners for Rhino lining for 2 years, Been a Painter at a collision shop for the last 12 after that. Krylon Fusion is great because it bonds to plastic at a molecular level, little to no prep work. If you use solvent based paint go with a high temp clear just make sure everything is scuffed well and clean. Don't see using the bedliner being a problem either, not for my taste, but if u like it go for it!

Does this mean you can tint/smoke our tail lights? I know I need mine done soon.

What ever you do, do not use flat or bed liner for the headlights. It looks too dull.

I made that mistake. I painted it a gloss finish soon after.

can you lay a clear over the bedliner?
I've never tried, sure it can b done, but the clear wouldn't have enough to bite into so I don't think it would hold up very well.:ninja:
