what should i title search to locate that shifter thread?

I'll make sure to do that at the mechanic's garage, cus though I worked on cars at a gas station, I don't feel confident enough to mess around with my transmission yet. Even still, a printout on the correct way to remove the panel could evade possibilities of my mechanic just figuring it out for himself- just like how thanks to you guys, i can point him to the front right hub assembly, where i feel the thumping. Your all so awesome!

Haha wow. Thanks man. I could of sworn I searched all the combos of shifter shift knob panel remove but thanks for helping me out! I've read a lot of ur stuff on here man thanks for helpin out!

It's the hub assembly. Mine has the same problem. Taking out the hub isn't too bad, there are 4 bolts holding the hub / bearing assembly. Take those and the axle nut off, then it should be quite easy to take them off. I am currently searching on ebay for those hub/bearings assembly. There is a DIY for that on the forum. Just need to find it.
