I currently have a 2008 Infiniti FX35, and I am running on 275/55R20, sometimes I have a slight rub. I am thinking of getting a pair of 22s and and they are 26535R22/102 VXL
My car is completely stocked, I never change the suspension, I was wondering if getting these 22s would be a problem. they were on a jeep cherokee, 5x114.3

I don't know that much about it but I wouldn't think you would have any rubbing with 20s all stock! There are several guys running 22a that will chime in

You're rubbing because 275/55/20 is a big tire, a decent bit taller than stock at 31.91" diameter. Stock is like a 30.4" diameter, 1.5" extra is a lot. The wheels you want are 29.3" diameter, much smaller than stock. So unless the offset is crazy wide or narrow, you should be fine. But I wouldn't recommend them simply because if you never plan to drop the car, a 265/35/22 tire looks silly. You end up with the donk look because there will be a skinny tire and huge wheel gap. Your FX will look lifted.

But if you decide to do this, make sure that the wheels are actually 114.3 and not 115. Some Chryslers run 5x115 which is sort of interchangable with 114.3 (lots of wheel shops will fit wheels like this) but it's not ideal.

If you have the right size 22" tire you should be ok, I run 22"s with a drop and don't rub at all.
