Trunk Latch Removal

I'm trying to access my tail lights to swap out bulbs, but I cannot remove the plastic piece to access the tail light bulbs. I cannot remove the hard plastic that houses the latch...

Any suggestions?
 
Are you trying to access the bulbs on the reverse lights or the tail lights? I have the Lighting section of the service manual if you want to review it.
 
First remove the trunk side finisher steps 1-7:

I actually have all these pieces off currently... Here is a pic (not sure if this is the part you are talking about)..

If you remove every plastic push retainer it will still be held on by 4 metal clips. You basically just have to pry the plastic piece upwards until these clips pop out.

Freakin' awesome! I love you man.

No wonder I couldn't move this thing. I didn't realize there were 4 clips holding this.
