Hi everyone,

I've read and searched forms regarding the infamous 1st gen fx35 2nd - 3rd gear shutter auto mode and 'thud' manumatic mode. It seems that the general consensus is that it's a normal symptom for the first gens.....I've got an 06 fx35 awd, and I just recently noticed it after having it for about one month.

I was wondering if there have been any updates, I've read that a couple or few members have the same symptoms, and wondered ifthere have been any changes?

Would appreciate any suggestions, thx.

Damn. I almost said Carlos.

I had the super hard 2nd to 3rd shift every once in a while but since installing the Transgo shift kit I haven't. At least I haven't noticed it since then...

Interesting that your clunk disappeared after installing the shift kit....perhaps I should consider this.

My shift in manual mode from 2-3 is more like a very mild 'thud' as opossed to a 'clunk', barely noticeable, but still annoying. I'm wondering if it'll get worst as the time passes. I'll just hope it's a normal 'imperfection' I guess.

What are the advantages of installing the shift kit?
 
sorry Carlos for distracting the thread....one guy I used to trade with always was referred to and used his handle name as liquidfx since he was a forex trader and his name was Aaron.
