Transmission problem??

Hello all,
I have 05 FX35 and recently whenever I floor the car on highway at around 60~65mph in an automatic mode, the car somehow prevents its RPM from getting it high. It keeps its RPM low which means it doesn't downshift as usual as before. In the past, whenever I floor the car on highway at the same speed, it used to downshift like from 5th to 2nd but now it only downshifts to like in 3rd gear and I can't feel a greater torque as used to I think... Maybe I am just getting used to using the manual mode?? There is nothing that I've done wrong. Air filter is clean, no engine check light, always use premium fuel... However, when I use the manual mode, I can downshift freely with no problem..
Could this be the radiator fan or motor that Infiniti was recalling about?
What do you guys think?
Has this kind of problem happened to anyone??
Thank you all in advance :)

bump
anyone? :(

Sounds like the ecu is stuck in a learned 'grandma mode'. If you step hard on it though it should jump down to a lower gear. Did you get on it hard as a test?
A good tune will keep the ecu & tranny ready to go as needed.

Alan, I dont think a simple reset will change any alg's already learned. I believe it needs a full reset w/ the consult to clear all maps. I could be wrong, but pretty sure I'm not

I didnt catch that. I say getting a full reset is the only way to clear it, but yeah, try a battery disconnect first

BTW, how does it run in manu-mode. Are you getting good climb in rpm && running normal?

whenever I use the manual mode it's just fine.. I can downshift and I have full control over the car...
I will wait a few more days and if the problem doesn't get solved then I will try to reset the ECU.
Thanks guys ! :)
