Transmission bucking

Hey guys decided to replace the transmission with a used one quick question after replacing transmission how many quarts of fluid would need to be added back into the replacement just trying to get an ides of cost of fluid .thanks

O.k guys the saga continues I purchased a used transmission 88000 mi from a fx that had been in an accident first couple of days drove fine ,now I am getting hard shifts and a small delay in shifts.I checked the fluid at proper level.no signs of leaks.any advice I don't want to have to pay to have this thing removed if I don't have to. Thanks for any help

I did no codes.and I have been repeatedly checking the fluid it seems to be a tad high.the notched spaces on the dip stick about how much fluid does that represent. Say it's at the low end how much fluid will it take to get to the proper level.

I would keep driving it for a little while longer. The transmission was "dry" when you installed and so there is air in the system. That can cause air pockets in the lines which cause issues like hard shifts and shift delays. I had this issue when I first swapped valve bodies, it took a little while to work out.

And make sure to check your fluid with the car running.
