I have a 2008 FX35 AWD and I was trying to add more air to a tire the other day and noticed I could not when I had it checked out was told the valve was broken (not just the pin but the whole piece inside) and would need to replace with a new TPMS and valve as it is one piece. I googled around and see a number of repair kits not sure if the garage told me the truth that the whole piece needs to be replaced for $90 plus programming and install or if I can get a $10 valve replacement and leave TPMS alone. Please advise, thanks in advance.
