I went to the dealership today to get my seat belt cleaned to fix the slow retraction problems.
I has asked the service manager regarding to the pricing for TPMS programming. Surprisingly, he told me to try the following, which should work for most of the Infiniti vehicle.
- Turn your car to "ON" state with all the lights showing on your dashboard without firing th engine
- Adjust your tire pressure on each of the wheel to trigger your TPMS. Then wait for 5 ~ 10 mins.
- Fire your car and drive it. Your computer should auto register the TPMS into your vehicle.
Since my new set of wheels are not here yet, I can't test it. But I think it won't hurt to try it out, since that was told by a service manager who is in good mood and try to help me to save $60 down the road. :.smile:
