Tornado air performance booster...does it work?

i have been wondering about this for like 10 yrs....
have anyone of you guys tried it? does it work ok?
I guess not like intake but fuel mileage and alil boost?
even if you had it in a different car please let me know

This item circulates forums every few months or so then gets beat down. Surprised they still sell this thing BUT there are still a few drivers who want the extra HP so bad they'll try anything......

Doesn't work. Actually restricts airflow and slows down the charge and if those cheap fins break inside your intake...... If you want something cheap but still effective get a MAF adapter (aluminum, the plastic ones break easily) a velocity stack, and a cone filter. You'll get a noticeable gain and it costs ~$50 to build.

These things kind of sort of worked on cars back when they had carbs. Even then it was suspect. In theory, swirling the air could lead to better combustion and so on. But the issue is they put this thing in the intake before the TB and intake manifold so even if the air does start swirling, the flow pattern won't make it past the TB and what good does swirling air do when it enters the intake manifold? Exactly nothing since whatever flow pattern it had willl be broken up as the air is split into the runners for each cylinder. And the others are right, putting something in your intake will block airflow. The theory is better than some of the other junk out there like the fuel line magnet, but in the end this thing is still useless.
