Hi everyone -

I have an 08 Infiniti FX35 with 22" rims/tires. I just moved to Denver, CO from Florida. The vehicle is RWD, and I'm honestly a bit nervous about what to expect as the weather is starting to change over to snow/sleet/etc... (Winter weather). I could use any insight on what I need to do as far as my tires (and rims). I have viewed a few threads around certain tires to look at, but thought I would start fresh.

Additionally - my steering wheel shakes when I'm on the road. It's not violent and I hardly notice (probably just used to it). Any thoughts on what the issue is there? Hub rings? the rims? Alignment? Suspension?

Appreciate it!

Welcome to :iS2:
Get a set of 20" wheels with 265/50R20 Bridgestone Blizzak tires and you're good to battle whatever winter throw at you.

The steering shake... Your 22" wheels & tires setup new or new to you? Are your wheels hub centric using hub centric rings?

Any recommendation on what kind of 20" wheels? Can I just go to Firestone or Discount Tire stores to get this done or would you recommend finding a smaller local shop?

The wheels/tires were set up for me (new) by a local wheel/tire dealer. Not sure if they are hub centric or use hub centric rings?
