I tried to find a comparison page for tires for the stock 20's but didn't find anything recent.

I need new tires, in wondering if anybody has used any of the below or have other recommendations.

What to consider etc.

I live in San Diego, but I like to go up to the mountains to snow board, so I think all season is a necessity, but I won't be doing the winter summer switch like a lot of you living in snow areas do.

Here is what the dealer has (current buy 3, 4th $1).

265/50R20 Goodyear EAGLE RS-A VSB
265/50R20 Hankook VENTUS AS (RH07) XL BW
265/50R20 Yokohama PARADA SPEC-X XL BW

I ran the Yokohamas for about 40k miles and loved them. Good wet & dry traction (I live in Florida so lots of rain) and they even did well with light snow during one trip to the mountains. I would have gotten them again when I got my 22's but I got a great deal on some Nitto 420s. Hope that helps.

-265/50R20 Hankook VENTUS AS (RH07) XL BW Had it myself, good tire for the money
-265/50R20 Yokohama PARADA SPEC-X XL BW- members Most favorite choice, really good tire

I would only consider the Yokohama Paradas and Hankook RH06. I've had both and liked both. If I were choosing right now, I'd choose the Yoko's, but I couldn't tell you why.

Thanks Guys for the feedback. Looks like the paradas get the most love. The generals that came on the car lasted 15k miles. Doesnt say what the tires hardness number is though. its a 107v

Estimated the total from the dealer. seems the price is about the same as discount tire though. 2 of the costco tires come with a mileage warranty. wonder if that would be worth paying extra for since i seem to go through the tires a bit fast. :)

Sounds like Yokohama PARADA SPEC-X are the way to go ? Most peoplle are saying they are quiet do they handle well Dry and wet ? How long have you guys seen these last ?

I'm getting the paradas tomorrow.

Another Yokohama that shows up on tire rack is the Avid ENVigor. Its more expensive, but survey wise it shows up worse than the paradas.

the envigor is considered (High Performance All-Season) whereas the paradas are (Street/Sport Truck All-Season). the way tire rack does their ratings theyre in categories, which makes it tougher to compare tires in different categories. it looks like every tire I looked at was in a different category.

I have the Hankook RH06. Nice ride...Good in the snow(I live in the PA mountains) and rain. They are a very decent tire for the price. I bought them from Tirerack on a dealer discount.

I have been running Hankook Ventus RH06 on my 22's and have nothing but good things to say about them. I am located in the mountains and they performed well in the snow and I've only been able to break them loose a couple of times on dry summer conditions pushing the limits on winding mountain roads. Defifinatly would go with the RH06 over the RH07. They are pretty quiet as well.

just bought the yk 580's yesterday, only reason i got them was because i was already using the yk520's and they just gave a nice and quiet ride. they only lasted for 42k miles but the 580's come with a 60k mile warranty from discount tire. i paid $1002 for 4 tires, which is $150 more than the 520's when i bought them few years back. they had the paradas but they are not as quiet as the 580's & mileage warranty not as much as 580's. my cars got 142,000 miles on it -hopefully these tires get the car to 200,000 miles. anyway here are pics:
