tire choice

Can anyone help me with a tire choice. I am looking to purchase a tire with great handling and a comfortable ride. Noise is an issue right now as well as cupping. I currently have the sumitomo.

I'm new here because I just bought my 45, so take this with a grain of salt. Going to put some new skins on mine and so far I'm leaning towards the Toyo Versado CUV's.

Hopefully others will chime in with which tires work well on these rides.

have you checked tirerack? They tend to have reviews on almost every tire and the reviews come from customers.

What ocal said. And they tend to be cheaper (although a few tire shops like discount tire do match their prices)

I highly suggest Yokohama Prada Spec X or Hankook Ventus RH06. Outside of availability limitations, I would only choose between these 2.

Have the paradas myself now. Waaaayyy better then my falken ziexs before. On wet roads the falkens would slip easily.

Agreed, If you are within OE tire size the Parada's and the RH06's are the tire's of choice for the FX. It's a combination of vehicle weight/handling characteristics combined with sidewall strength, rubber composition and tread pattern. Both of these tires provide a quiet comfortable ride with the ability to handle the spirited driving an FX is capable of dishing out.

This poll - https://www.infinitiscene.com/search/1/?q=5915-Tire-Poll/page3 is named dry/wet, but clearly indicates the tires of choice for the FX and is indicative of sport not just comfort (that's how we roll you know)

I would recommend the Yokohoma Parada Spec X, I have had very good service from mine.
I researched before and these tires do seem the tire of choice for many FX'ers.

I have the Pirelli scorpion STR 20" on my FX and they handle great in dry and wet conditions with no road noise. They are not for snow though so you need a pair of back ups for snowy weather. Tire Rack.
