TINTED rear windshield brakelight

hey guys!
i already have the reflector overlays from bluebatmobile, so i was thinking about
tinting the third brake light above the rear windshield. for those of you that have fone this, did you use that spray-paint stuff made for car lights and painted the light cover? or did you use an overlay or tint? please share!

yeah i was gonna do that, but since there were minor issues with the overlays for the reflectors i didnt want to have to go thru it again with the one for the brake light.

gto do you have one from straight back?, i can't rele see it in that pic.
 
Lemme add that I had no issues with mine. They fit pretty good overall. A lil' trimming here & there, but no bigee. His material holds up really well with no discolor or peel up.
 
mine is the sapphire one in this thread Fx Color Codes - InfinitiScene.com. It is really easy to apply the brake light overlay.
 
hmmm maybe i should go with Bat's, even though i had minor problems with the reflector things.....

do you guys know anyone who had it painted?

i want to see if it goes well with the plastic part of the hatch if its painted---like if it all looks black because that would look cool

yea when i said minor, i meant trimming and such

thanks! thats great cuz the Diamond Graphite WV2* color is the same as mine and so its great reference!!!!!!

but i still wanna see sum1's who got it painted....


(*thats gto-dave's car right?)

is that part of the annoying feature of cruise control where if theres even a little bug on the road it slows down?
 
Dunno, not that advanced. My FX is dumb. Just goes where I point it :confused:

I used the overlays... took like 5 minutes
 
yeah they look good and im probably going to get them (and i know how long it takes i got them done for my reflectors).....but i wanted to see if anyone ahd them painted so i could see what they look like
 
no i dont think anybody has them painted , easiest way is like everybody said the bat overlays, i will be ordering a whole set in a few weeks from him
