I've been away for a while and now it will be forever...(maybe)
Today I just traded in my FX for a G37XS.

The 2 FX's I've owned has been a pleasure and I know the G will be also.
...love for the FX never dies!

The funny thing is, many of us here have had a G sedan or G coupe first and then went to the FX. You are going the other way:good:.
Post a few pics of your G when you get a chance, you know how we all love pics.
 
Isnt there also going to be an entirely new G sedan coming out next year ?? I know some folks do not like that 1st year new model since it may have kinks or bugs but whatever G you get now will look somewhat outdated so quickly when the new ones comes out IMHO ?? Regardless enjoy the ride ...... I also had a G35 many yearsa ago !!

Regarding the instantly outdated look... some people prefer current model over new! Look at the Acura TL... I thought the ~'06 model was awesome looking, simple but beautiful. Then they went all fugly mode on it. Now I don't wanna step on any toes, but look at the 1st gen FX vs 2nd gen... I don't think I'd ever buy a 2nd gen lol... 3rd gen maybe if it looks appealing, but I definitely don't like the way Infiniti went with the FX.

Thanks everyone for the responses.

This is one of the reason why I didn't go for another FX!
I still prefer the 1st gen style compared to the current version...wish I could tranfer the interior to the 1st gen body.
Plus due to my disability from work, had to find some way of saving by reducing my payments and not get the new FX...the G fit the bill.
 
fact is, you kept with infiniti so you'll be sticking around.... good buy is more in your mindset, right?
 
Ha, I understand u gotta do what u gotta do, been there before. After I had to let go of my 35 I'd always see an fx on the road and be all, I miss my fx, I will get another one someday. Few years and many sports cars later... now loving my 45 she's a keeper!
 
Wait, Joe you had another 35 before your 45? FX or G? I never knew of this. :eek.:

I hope she will find a good home....:wink:

I will stop in time to time and maybe be back if I ever get another FX!
