Time to get rid of that wheel gap!

He didn't mess with the rear at all because the bolts were not breaking loose.. He didn't want to snap anything and given its a weekend I would be without a car until he can order new bolts. I lowered the front even more since he aligned it so he said he will do another one anyways.. Figured I would get back up bolts so he could really go at them.. He soaked them in PB blaster before he brought it back so maybe he will have better luck next time.. Gonna get the braces so he will have some more work to do anyways

Im confused Andy.. I thought I read we need 2 72205 kits and one 72265 kit for the longer bolts.. So I need even longer bolts with the tie brace? Do I not even need the 72205 kits just 2 of the 72265 kits? lol I'm lost.. :bulgy-eyes:

Yep, you do not need 72205 kit at all. It may fit the toe bolt without GTSPEC rear lateral brace, but it need 72265 kit for the toe bolt if you plan to get the brace on. The 72265 is the longer kit for the camber, but still not long enough if you have the rear tie brace on. The bolt that come with the 72265 is about 1/8" shy to flush the nut with the brace on. The mounting holes on the braces also needed to be slotted using the SPC template to allow for the added adjustment.

Note, there are few members here cannot get the GTSPEC braces back on and had to modify their braces. So far, I installed the SPC kit on 5 FXes with GTSPEC on without any problem of getting the braces back on.

Since you already bought the 72205 kit, you just have to use the nuts and washer from the kit with the custom bolts. Don't need to get another set of 72265 now :smile (2):
