Time for a brake upgrade

So I was pricing out BBKs front and rear and decided the best bang for the buck is gonna be the fx50 front and G37 rears…. Turbocad doesn't have anymore room in his private messaging so does anyone know if there are any of his kits floating around out there anymore?

The front calipers are bolt on, you won't need anything custom to do that.

It's the rear calipers that need his specialty machined parts. I have a set of them, brand new, which I picked up after there was the possibility of him not making any more.

Not sure if I want to part with them just yet. I've been going back and forth on which BBK I want to do.
 
It's technically not the G37 rears you want, it's the FX50. Calipers are the same, parking brake is different so you need FX50 rotors, G37 or 370Z ones don't work. You'll also need FX knuckles which are pricey, I think $300+ each? The only part that TC made was the ball joint adapter and I don't think he makes them anymore. I picked up one of the last sets for the same reason meme did, to keep options open since he's not making them anymore.

Fronts are a direct bolt on, just new calipers/rotors. No cutting or anything.
 
Thanks guys.. If either of you end up wanting to sell the kit hit me up! I'd def. take it...

As far as how much I want to spend.. I guess it depends on my options. I am going to move forward either way so I guess at this point I am just going to wing it and keep putting money aside. I have enough now to do the FX50 upgrade completely minus the kit for the rears so I will prob just keep saving and when I have enough to do another kit front and rear I will see whats out there and go from there..
 
If anyone has one of those retro kits for the rears available and not sure if your going to use it, I'll double your money for a limited time. I should have enough to do a full kit front and rear aftermarket by the end of this month but I could do the full FX50 upgrade now so If you want to make a quick buck.. I'll take it! :tongue:
