Hi all,

Picked up a 50 a few weeks ago with just under 100k miles. Had my local dealer do a full inspection and it’s quite clean, with a good bill of health. There is some weeping at the valve cover gaskets, but very minimal. Otherwise no issues.

Center armrest is ripped, have a new one coming from redlinegoods.com as we speak. Will post up some pics when I get it installed.


Just installed a small adapter so my iPhone will charge and connect to the radio.

It came with an axle back, muffler delete exhaust, but I put the OEM muffler back on. Was way too loud without it.

Currently chasing a small coolant leak somewhere near the bottom of the radiator, and am also considering some spacers in the rear to widen the rear track. Very happy with everything so far, really feels like a solid, quality vehicle. First Infiniti for me, am coming from a world of Volvo’s and Toyota’s.

I just bought an FX50 (2011). My daytime running lights aren't working. I had an FX35 for years prior to this and never had a problem. Just wondering if yours are working without any issues

Check the coolant filler neck for leaking, mine was replaced a couple years back under warranty.

Thanks! I ended up having the radiator replaced. It had a small crack at each of the side tanks. I'll check to filler neck though too - I'm no longer noticing a leak, but I still get a slight coolant smell if I start poking my nose around the engine bay after driving. Appreciate the tip.
