So this morning's commute to work was a bit special. My drive to work is about 20km at most. It is not particularly cold today (about -10C). Almost all of the ride to work was fine except when I got to the last block or so from my work I started easing up on the gas but the FX kept it's speed (60KM/h). I checked and the cruise controle was on but not set. I shut off the cruise and it kept going still :S
I was able to break even if I heard the engine working a bit, got to the parking lot, shut off the engine, restarted it and it still was reving up.
I did use cruise on the way to work just before it happened. I also heated the garage yesterday to get the ice to melt and stuff but the fx still slept outside all night so I'm assuming this has nothing to do with the problem or I would have noticed it before the end of my commute.
By the way my commute to work involves a lot of stop and go traffic, stop signs and red lights so I know for a fact that it only started happening at the end of the commute.
This post is already longer then I intended lol but any idea what could be the issue? Stuck throttle cable? Do they even run on cables?? Or cruise controle acting up? I'm a bit scared to get back home now.
Thanks guys!
