So, I'm really tired of the excessive brake dust on the new "euro spec" brake pads on my FX. I'm contemplating going to Infiniti and pushing for replacement pads based on the old spec, the ones that were "reviewed" on the FX50s when, I think it was C&D, reported brake fade on track driving conditions. Those pads left no dust (have them on my G37 I believe), don't make any sound and wear well.
I'm curious as to what you all think about this and how likely I am to have Infiniti replace the pads.
Assuming they won't replace the pads does anyone know of any good aftermarket pads out there that perform well without the dust and excessive wear issues of these new OEM pads?
