Greetings, it's been several years since I posted here but I'm thinking of returning the the FX family and could use some advice. I had a 2004 FX35 with H&R springs, GTSpec braces and 22" American Racing wheels in gunmetal. One of the best cars I ever owned and I loved it. I decided to trade it in on a 2004 Corvette and bought a GMC Sierra as my daily driver. The Sierra has been good but it's a truck so it has no room and rides like a tank. Now that it's getting older I'm looking at trading it in on a 2009-2010 FX35. I found a nice one here at a local dealer. Black, with Nav and Tech packages, 57,944 miles for $21,900.
The only thing that's giving me pause is something on the Carfax report. It's a one owner car that was serviced at the dealer regularly. The last item that shows up on the Carfax at 56,374 miles says "Maintenance inspection completed, Body electrical system checked". It's this second part that makes me wonder. Is "Body electrical system checked" something normal thats done at that mileage? Or could it indicate something is wrong with it and they traded it in rather than have it fixed?
Any advice would be appreciated. It's a beautiful car and the price is right, at least for this part of the country (Northeast).
Thanks in advance.
