Am thinking of getting those wheels for my ride. What do you all think? 20", don't want it to get too stiff but still get a nice size and beefyness. They have a 2.5" polished lip.

Photoshopped them on my FX, not the best job, just to give an idea. Didn't feel like spending too much time on it :wink (2):

Personally you should get 22"s and your in Cali! The roads can't be as bad as the Midwest or East Coast. :tongue (2):

The ride won't be that much stiffer versus 22"s.

You'd think Cali has good roads. But it's also a "work in progress" in some areas. I will chech 22" and see how I like it. Found them on line in New York. Can't find anything locally that I like.

Adam, I would definitely go with 22" for sure. 22" on 285/40 tires still give you a real good ride. Not stiff/hard at all. Don't do 20"!

I've seen these wheels on 20's being on the fx and I can't agree more in going 22's (ONLY). You'll save lots of headaches.

Another vote for 22's, a lipped 20 looks like it's an 18". In your PS, you have a 22 on there. Nice wheel, that's for sure.

Good advice from everyone, much appreciated, I needed that extra forum group vote :) Thanks guys.

And yes Andy did get me started in a good direction, I'm not even going to question anything else Aero :)

I've seen those rims on 20's before and they don't look very good. I'd say go for the 22's as well. I have the very same rims and I love them! Here's a shots of my ride.

There are alot of potholes in Canada actually lol. Where I live none of them are really too severe and I always try to drive carefully.

Yeah I'm running on 30 series tires. You might want to go 35 or 40 for ride comfort. I opted for the 30s so I can get it to drop lower.

I will definitely need to go for 40, my commute to work is pretty rough lol. :bomb:
