Thinking of buying fx35 but torn

I'm new here. I'm very seriously considering my07 FX35 but really want the power of the 45. If I go with a 45 it will have to be an older model, 03, 04 for the same budget as a fully loaded 06, 07 35.

Question: Is it worth the extra power to get 45 over 35 and sacrifice some of the nice features like intelligent key, bluetooth, and back up cam?

Also when putting 22's on the FX would it need to be lowered?

Does anyone out there have remote start that uses the intelligent key? I understand it may be a factory installed option but want to see if it can be installed aftermarket.

There shouldn't be that much price difference between a 35 and 45. And when putting on new wheels you don't have to lower it, but it will certainly look better.
 
There is no factory remote start option for the fx but you can add a aftermarket unit. I believe there is one that uses the ikey buy I'm not all too certain.
 
compromise in technologies for more hp doesn't sound right, not to mention you have mpg factor to consider. 35 isn't underpowered at all. it thrilling.
 
I will personally get a 45, much faster!, forget the bluetooth and etc, there will come a time when u will tell yourself man why didn't i get the 45.. Second i use to have 22's (265/35/22) on my car not lowered and there was a huge gap (didnt look so well), second after drivin for 6 months, the plastic parts inside my car including my right side passenger window started squeaking badly, now i have the stock rims and personally i like them better but the noise is still there because of the 22's
 
A remote start is possible with an ikey. I am among many who have both. Some shops will claim it is impossible but if they know what they are talking about/doing then it will work perfectly fine with no compromises.

For what it's worth, I've owned both and currently drive a 45 but would still take the 35 to get the extra goodies. The v6 is THAT good of an engine.

Thank you all for the great responses, I think the 35 is really the way to go. I didn't mention before that the car is actually for my wife and I was trying to come up with a good argument to convince her to get the 45 over the 35.

I do think I have convinced her to get an invidia system. So it'll still sound sexy.
 
FX35 w/ Intelligent key/ Nav over a 45. Once my wife saw that the key never had to leave her purse, she was sold. PLUS, she is horrible with directions, so having nav was on the must have list.

FX45's power/torque is great, but an FX35 with more options will be a better buy. And it is not slow by any means. I would get the 35, especially if you get an 06+ with the better interior than the 45's older one.
