Thinking about installing Meisterschaft G37 rear section/axel-back Exhaust onto FX50

Hey guys! I wanted to get your opinion on the Meisterschaft Exhaust? GTHaus doesn't make one for FX, but i was thinking about just mounting the G37 rear section that GTHaus makes. It's quite expensive and some custom fabrication would be involved, but is it worth it? Currently, I have the borla on my FX50s but its just not as loud as I would want it to be.

Ive heard the meisterschart in person and its one mean sounding exhaust. The axle back looks like it should bolt up nicely and just need to have the tips extended. Beautiful exhaust too...

thats what I was thinking only problem is I have the borla and those bolting brackets don't exist anymore :/ its just a straight flush tubing so basically I guess I would just have to weld the piping together and cut off the brackets. Honestly, this exhaust looks really similar to the invidia, but the meister is probably a little bit better quality.

If the flanges aren't there anymore, any exhaust shop could weld on new flanges. Most aftermarket exhausts use universal 2 bolt flanges. It would make life much easier in the future if you ever wanted to remove it for any reason. It barely costs any more because the flanges are cheap and it takes very little time for a shop to do.

Awesome, so i just discovered that I have my original exhaust, should I keep the borla midpipe and new flanges or should I get my original exhaust and reinstall it and put the rear section on?

my friends m3 sound amazing. Wooh if u install it on the fx, it will soun like a beast

I personally would keep the Borla. If you're looking for louder, then installing the OEM would minimize some of the sound the Meisterschaft puts out. Then again, maybe the Borla will make the Meisterschaft rear section sound terrible. Maybe install w/ Borla and if you don't like the sound swap for OEM? If you put flanges on it, it'll be plug and play anyways so swapping wouldn't be too bad.

I hear what ur saying and ya it's a toss up. I'm meeting with a meisterschaft dealer on Monday to see what options I have but over the phone he sounded pretty confident that it would work either way. He also said that the invidia for the fx35 rear section is almost the same thing but for half the price. But the sound of the meisterschaft is pretty awesome. I'm leaning towards the meisterschaft but we will see on Monday.

I heard a Meisterchaft exhaust on a R35 GTR and it sounded so sick

If you just want it to be louder then just take your cats off and keep what you have.

When I went to the exhaust shop the guy said the only way it could get louder is by straight piping it. So I don't really know what to do now. It sounded great the muffler off and probably even better with the tips extended to the back of the vehicle.
