TheBeast :: 2003 BMW M5

Sir21, the foglight covers were not hooked up. I always wanted to get the active autowerkes ram air intake system. Heard good things about it and proven hp gains.

Ah. Funny you mention that. I'm actually collecting parts to do a similiar intake to AA. Can't swallow the 1k pricetag when looking at it there are no more than $250 worth of parts and some labor (which I don't mind). The HP gains are probably minimal, more for the look and functionality of the grille ducts.

Well I finally did it a few weeks ago. DIY ram intake/brake cooling via front ducts. Total cost = $200 vs $1k for Active Autowerke intake.

So how's it been going with the M5? Had an problems? I've been contemplating getting one myself, but afraid of the maintenance.
