I recently purchased a 2nd gen FX35 to replace my 1st gen. The first gen had too much rust to save and had a mysterious no start issue that was intermittent.

I picked up this FX for what I think is a pretty good price as is. it needed some love, the front suspension was trashed and needed new lower arms, links, shocks and mounts. I still have a creaking that I have know idea where its coming from.







one of the tail lamps was broken, I jumped the gun a bit and replaced the lights with the Limited lights before I took the pic of the broken red one







there was a big dent in the rear cover and a rust spot near the gas filler, these will be fixed in the spring



I heated the dent and removed most of it, I can live with this until I replace the cover



I couldn't help myself so I painted the fender vents

I took them out and had my body shop paint them

The fronts look like they stick out a bit, but it could be the ride height, it looks better on the FX50S wheels at the moment

Akebono brake tear down





Akebono brakes fresh from powder coating
coated in candy metallic teal with brushed aluminum vinyl logos
back half of calipers are done in satin black

GTSpec strut brace was powder coated at the same time with a candy blue to candy teal fade

Front brakes have been installed with Stillen front rotors

the rust on the quarter is too bad to dump any money into

Where you driving this in sauga? Never seen it. Are you able to sell the rear stock calipers? Steering wheel?
