Very interesting thread, when this first came out I was a little confused, but now I totally get it.
 
Ha, I read the title of the thread and didn't open it until I saw the cross reference on the "deals" thread. This is a great idea, buying items sight unseen can be a PITA. There are members on iS I would trust to survey just about anything for me before I purchase :wink:
 
I have the same watch. Bought it from an Authorized Tag dealer a couple of months ago. Classic time piece!

Testing out this method.

Any members in boston able to checkout an item that is located in Boston for me. If the item turns out legit and in good condition I will paypal the amount+shipping cost to have he or she ship it to my Chicago address. I will throw a few dollars your way of course too. I was wondering if anyone in the Syracuse, NY area or anyone that lives near a http://www.dunntire.com/ dealer that could help me out. I'm looking to buy new 265/45R21 Dunlop Tires from them because they have the best prices around but they wont ship. I will pay for the tires over the phone through credit card. Shipping should be no more than $25 per tire through USPS Parcel Post. I'll also Paypal the person a reasonable amount for helping me out. Can PM if interested and I will give you my number to discuss the details and my shipping address.

how much u paying for the dunlops? i wholesale tires and i can get u bridgestones if u need.. PM me if ur interested
 
On their site for $328.88 a piece. Might even get them for $318 a piece because I'm not going through them for the mount and balance. I only want the Dunlop's. PM me a price if you can beat it and I'll go through you.
 
unfortunately i dont stock dunlop.. just have the bridgestones in that size and yes itll be under $280 plus tax, maybe less.. gotta check when im back at the office
