The Manta Ray CAI for the 03'-05' fx45

Here is my review: Yesterday, I filled the tank and the mileage read 332. I wanted to see my average mpg and if there were any mileage gains so I kicked in the criuse control to 60 and drove 46 miles. The end result was 22.7 for average and 393 miles, a gain of 61. The Manta Ray with the combination of my other mods I would say it ties in very well. I would recommend the purchase to anyone with a 45.

Has the weather changes and it gets cooler I'm sure I will see some even better numbers. Also, once the tune for the Unichip is finalize and everything is tune to it perfection there will be more gains etc.

By the way, If I haven't already said it the Manta Ray sounds awesome, and Joe really put some thought and hard work into this design and it's a big improvement over the OEM design.

I'd love to try^^^ Thanks for the review Chris, glad you are happy with the Manta Ray and are getting better gas milage.:smug:

Any chance of picking one of theses up?
PM is best! One 03'-04' left, a handful of 05'+ remain...

^^^Thanks for the love Chuck!

BTW FX45Chicago's gain in MPG with My Manta Ray was over the Popcharger, not the OEM factory intake. I personally took off his Popcharger and Installed the Mantaray with my own two hands :wink (2):

jdTrader and I are going to work on something this spring for the FX50s, got pretty much everything I need. I love a challange, 2nd gen FX35 has a very simillar setup.... PM me :wink (2):

Spring is the time for mods.. Would be nice if it would be available around that time.. Then again, we've already waited this long. :banghead:
