Just joined up hoping to find some insight into how to repair the fiasco of the vinyl lower panel of the FX seat. There are zero replacements available in wrecking yards coast to coast in the "brick" color. Every one had varying degrees of the same problem on the driver's side. Most cars, the driver and passenger seat cushions are actually the same and can be interchanged. Not so with the FX's unique seat control placement. Mine isn't just cracked. It's shredded on the side around the corner to the front, with areas of material missing. If I don't find a solution here I'm going to look for a flexible fill product that can be textured, or just pull the cover off the cushion and replace the panel with a new leather section. Either way it will probably have to be painted to match because the "brick" color is so unique, I doubt it can be matched. So....anybody have a great, low cost, low hassle solution figured out alreadySeat Left 2.JPG Anyone have a fix for this?
