The Beast - FX45 :: 2004 Infiniti FX45

Your whip is hot my dude, rare color with unique touches . Inside and out! Im trying to get my hands on a pair of custom headlights for my 06 FX, DG. Any info of how to get them from extreme designz? I tried their website, but looked like a foreign advertisment! Any info will be appreciated! Good Lookin!

Thanks man, appreciate the comment, just learning from the guys on here and trying things out :) And like Andy said, Marek is back, so definitely get in touch, just be patient, I'm sure he is flooded with requests now that he is back. :) Also you can try his eBay store.

5. Rear Bumper Protector - #2383

This part is originally intended for the 2nd gen FXs, but both gens have exactly the same curve to the rear bumper so it's a perfect fit. Just peel and stick on.

Most Recent MOD:

6. Retrofitting of LED strips into the rear bumper reflectors.
No DIY on my end, but simple MOD. All you need to do is take the rear bumper off to get access to mounting screws that hold the reflectors in place, using a dremel or any cutting tool, separate the reflector plastic from the housing, stick the LED strip of your choice, using a clear silicone or any plastic bonding adhesive glue the reflector back together, and in reverse order put everything back on the car and you're done. Wire it to your lights, wether to the light module in the trunk or to your side markers and you're done.

Wow, they're bright. What did you put in there?

I ordered a set from eBay that turned out to be really dull, so I took my chance with the ones you get at AutoZone, I got a 19" strips with bright white LEDs for $20. They actually match the rear lights, just in the photos they look a bit brighter. But OMG what a huge difference it makes to have them on.

Great list of DIYs! I really like the rear bumper LEDs. That is one I see in my future! :desire:
Thanks Andrew!
ha ha well if you want send me yours and I'll make them for you, I have way too much time on my hands :ninja:

^btw in case you didn't notice Andy, I gave you a shout out on the Skid Plate and link to your garage :smile (2):. You got me started with the MOD bug lol.

great mods :), i actually had one of those autozone lights, they work, great if there exposed to sun or rain they will last only 6 months, or half the leds will stop working

I actually peeled off the gel they come dipped in and resealed them myself to hopefully avoid that. Will see in 6 months ... tim tok :)

When are you going to start making mirror covers to sell?

If I don't get a new job soon I just might have to start :) I'm actually thinking of a slightly different mirror mod for 1gens that I think will look better than mirror covers. I just need to find donor mirrors. :)

Damm I wish u lived in MA bc I would let you try it out on my mirrors. But if u decide to star selling some keep us posted specially since the other guy selling mirror covers had his account suspended.
