Well, I've noticed a whole lot of new members from the Dallas area recently, and we already have a handful from the Houston/Austin areas, so I thought it would be a good idea to start our own region. I will try and pm the people I can think of who are fairly active from Texas. We can discuss it here, make sure we have enough to create one, and come up with a name. Personally I like Texas FX's (TFX?), since it kinda rhymes. :iS:
 
I could be in the future. I changed my last pic, I actually have a white longhorn emblem right under the third brake light. I'll put it back up. It was the only slogan I could think to put there.
 
I'm probably way older than you. UT undergrad 95-00.

If it wasn't for my "no stickers/emblems on car" policy I would already have one of those metal longhorns on the back of my FX

Ya, we have one of the metal ones on our Tahoe. I bought this one only because I think the white looks awesome on black cars, and its easily removed. I actually took it off 2-3 times just to get it to fit perfectly. I feel like it isn't too flashy, and it won't harm anything. And yeah, you are a bit older than me. I would be in the class of '13 probably.

I don't know if we will have regional meets and stuff, but I would at least like to have a section for only Texas people, to post relevant Texas stuff.
 
Just found this thread - I'm in for the regional group. Met up with two other guys here in Houston and know of two others on the scene.

What ever happened to Chinke82? Where does he live?

I hope things have improved at SGP. They went through a very rough patch over th elast year.

Also, they did not properly install the cooling lines on my turbos. I got to replace them after only 1 /2 years.
 
Awesome! In the original post I came up with TFX, or TXFX, or TXFXs, or something like that, because I thought Texas FX's sounded cool. How do you other Texas members feel about this?

I will still have fx but will be getting a 300zx twin turbo. Mom will have fx but i will still meet up with you guys and meet up :) i'll stay active.
 
Sorry i'm way out here in El Paso. I'm looking for any members out here to start a little group for weekend runs, mod advice or just to get together and do something! ^.^:tup:
