Test pipe fitment--cat going bad

I have a cat going bad and I'm thinking about trying a test pipe. I know the exhausts are similar for 350z g35 fx35 etc. will test pipes for 350z bolt right up? I don't see many available for fx but tons for the 350??

this is pushing back my car wrap project. :-(
 
from what i heard, test pipes are known to crack y pipes due to it has no bracket like the stock. make sure you add as bracket if it doesnt have.
