Tear in rubber seal at door well

Hay gang,

Brand new here. I have been reading for some time, but this is my first post.
This morning I noticed that I had a small tear in the rubber lining/seal in well of my driver door.

I love my FX, and this is the first 'ding' so-to-speak.

Anyhow, I would love some suggestions on how I might be able to repair is seamlessly.

I htink the only thing you can do is just replace it. I have a tear in mine like that and i don't think there is much you can do

Use permatex black silicone sealant, might not be seamless...but it's cheap and worth a try. http://www.permatex.com/products/Au...ermatex_Black_Silicone_Adhesive_Sealant_b.htm

I believe the replacement is around $100. You could probably just leave it and get away with it.

Thanks for the suggestions. I think I will try the Permatex - and if it looks poor... I will replace it. Can't stand seeing it as I get in everyday. If it were the passenger side, I might just leave it.
