Tailgate handle

Does anyone with 09+ FX have tailgate handle issue? It's the plastic thing inside the tailgate. The original one I had is very loose, a few times it fall off just by closing the trunk.

I took it to first dealer, they taped the inside to make it tighter fit. Kind of make it better, but I wasn't happy with the tape fix. Took to another dealer, and they ordered a new (wrong) handle, which is not made for fx. Surprising it actually fixed the problem, but it's the wrong color(grey instead of black, see below).

Now they gave me the right one, but it's back to the same problem again. Just wonder if others have the same issue and this is common to all 09+ fx35 (mine is 2010 fx35)?

I've got a button there instead of the handle. Would spraying PlastiDip on the grey handle be an option?

Called the service department at Infiniti, and complained about black one is so loose. Now they said the grey one is the correct one that's for FX35, but they only make grey one now???? The guy said he doesn't know why. Doesn't make any sense to me, fx35 interior are either beidge or black.

Maybe call another dealer and inquire.
