My local tail light overlay tint installer wants $120. Hell no! I'd rather have them painted smoke. Looks a lot cleaner than film.

Agreed. I did a film tint overlay on my third brake light and I was never happy with it, I pulled it off a couple of weeks later. Professionally sprayed tints are the only way to go.

lol thanks man, i knew that one, the one i don't know how to take of is the backup revers light... ahhh i can't find a way! or the spoiler light...

Takes out 4 push pins from the plastic.Most likely you will break them. Easy t order again.
Then just remove the plastic cover,it being held by many clips. Don't be afraid.
Then you will get access to reverse tail lights.

Im going to give this a shot when the weather is better. Going to put a clear coat to protect the tint.

Mmmm that looks like a good spray! I would try it but the tail light seem hard to remove :/ and dont want to take it to the shop! I would stay like 1 or 2 days without my car!

I can gurantee 100% if you do vinyl on our tail lights it'll look like shit. Too many curves and things sticking up to get the vinyl to lay perfectly on the tail lights. I've seen two 2nd gens have it done and it looks horrible. It'll have bubbles and look like ass. Have a body shop professionally smoke them or forget it.

yup. still a vinyl wrap. pita to apply. plus that website is too glorified.

Sup,, anybody knows how to remove the 3rd break light on the spoiler and the break lights that are int the trunk? i want to paint them, but i dont want to paint them there i want to remove them to paint them with Plasti Dip! thanks!!

I like this mod and thinking about doing it. How has the tint held up to the weather conditions? Any bubbles or peeling? What type of tint did the shop install?
