Ok here goes, my second DIY and again it's on lights:tongue (2):. This DIY is for us who have not changed out our stock fogs for HID fogs. This DIY gives little tips and guidance for you who want to change the stock bulbs to something a little less stock in color or performance.

1: Remove the plastic panel from under the engine. Sorry no pic of that, its hard to miss.
2: Take out the 2 Bolts in the picture. Not the ones with philips screwdriver slots. (those come out when you take off your belly cover).

3: Now you need to reach up and follow the cable till you feel this. Yellow is stock

4: That is the back of the Fog light assembly. You can see the back of the bulb and the wire harness that it connects to. (NEW BLUB)

5: Reach up and give the back of the bulb a little turn counter clockwise. You will feel it release. Then just pull out the bulb. The harness will still be connected.

6: What you are left with. You can see the "Keys" that the bulb locks into.

7: Now just unplug the cable from the bulb, and swap it out with the new one.
8: Now take the bulb and place it back into the Fog housing. (TIP look into the front of the fog light and you can line up the "KEYS" much more easy. Also you can see which way it need to turn to "LOCK" into position.
9: Repeat for the other side. I did driver side first since it was easier to work with. The passenger side has the windshield washer tank. Its not hard to work around just a little tighter space.
10: hope this helps. There are other ways to do this but I found this way was easy for me + it gave me a chance to check the engine compartment from underneath and the back of my brake calipers:wink (2):

Many of us run with an HID fog without any issue. Many use Morimoto. I have DDM Kit for 3 years. The kit will includes the bulb and ballast. Just getr any 9006 35W HID kit and it direct fit into the stock fog housing.

9006 for 03-05
H8 for 06-08
