i looked through all the pages. all it talked about is what he did to his car on the outside, nothing like supercharging it or anything. or making it faster in any way

or should i go with the k&n filters

^^^ ok, it's obvious that you really have no idea about modding cars so I'll help you out here.. Yes, forced induction (supercharging or turbo) costs a lot of money, you need a lot of supporting parts to make it run safely... for 1K in mods, I would do an intake (kn slip in as no other options exist as of now) exhaust, strut bar.. that's it, that's all that 1K buys you.. and the hp will be around 15.. that's it..

and no, that ebay link of that intake is absolute garbage... there's no magic chip that gives 50 hp or some tornado intake that adds 15+ hp, or liquid additive..

I suggest you go to the 2nd gen mods section of the forum and look around, yes read some threads.. you will actually learn a lot as a lot has been discussed already..

i didnt think you could get it for 1,000. i just didnt know it was like 9,000

Yup. A SC for a $50+k vehicle usually costs an average of two civics. just stick to what's been suggested.... K&N filters, intake, sway bars, maybe an OEM lip to add for looks

I was actually thinking of supercharging the EX35 I also own, but I am undecided on it. That one has the 5 speed tranny and obviosuly the limits have been set to about the 400 WHP mark. Funny though, I always though torque is what killed transmissions, and obviously if you are hooking on launches you are bound to pound on your clutch packs. I read somewhere on the 370z or G37 forums the 7 speeds should be good up to the power range of a QX50 torque and HP figure. This would be for MAXIMUM durability but can most likely be pushed way further, maybe with a trans cooler and a valve body upgrade, even TQ conv if you want to get crazy even though I am not sure if these mods are available yet.
