Sunroof Exploded

Sunroof exploded while driving on the interstate yesterday. No cars or overpass in proximity. No other damage to vehicle. Remaining glass looked like a volcano. Thankfully the shade was closed so the class didn't enter the interior of the car. Car has 7000 miles Waiting to hear from dealer/Infinity

It was a known problem on certain Audi cars A4 and Q5 but infiniti? that is a first...hope everything works out and you'll know why it happened in the first place...

this happens around here, I think I hear about it at least a few times a year

It happens on BMW's as well, lots of threads on it. I don't think it's car or brand specific, more likely situation specific.
