Sunroof "Creaking" Noise

Anyone else experience a "creaking" sound coming from the FX when driving at slower speeds? At first I thought it was the roof rails flexing and creating the sound, but then I closed the sunroof visor/cover and the sound goes away.
 
i also had a sunroof creaking noise

at first it was when the sunroof was propped open, i heard it a lot. Then eventually it started making the noise when the sunroof was closed too. bought it to the dealer, they said the screws were lose, tightened them and gave the car back a hour later

This is something common among avid Sunroof users.

I had to tighten the Sunroof visor 3 times.

I love driving my ride with the Sunroof Open every time I get a change to here in CALI
 
I had the same creaking noise from my sunroof. Found out it was the seals were dry. Lubricated with small amount of soap and the sound went away. It has not returned.

if it continuously happens would u recommend putting thread lock on the screws lol

haha my bad. Thread lock is a compound you put on screws

Definition: Available as a thick liquid or in a consistency similiar to rubber cement, thread lock or thread locking compound is a (usually) non-permanent adhesive used on metal fasteners such as set screws and motor mounts. The thread lock gives screws extra gripping power so that vibrations and collisions don't loosen the fasteners.

i was wondering, if i put thread lock on the screws that are coming loose, do you think the sunroof will still function like its supposed to
 
I noticed this today for the first time going down my alley. I hadn't turned on any music because I needed to get far enough away from the house so YouTube wouldn't pick up the wifi and cut my music off half way through. Guess I will check on these screws. Where abouts are they?
 
can someone tell me where these screws on the sunroof is? I am having a popping noise while driving up/down inclines. I think it may be a sunroof.
