I am from Queens NYC, I own an infiniti FX 35 2005. The car has almost 100K miles on it, it needs for sure new tires, new exhaust and probably new shocks. I am at the point of making a decision to either spend some money on the car or may have to go for a new one. I am looking for a good mechanic that I can bring my car to, for evaluating the situation I am in right now. I was even thinking of pimping the car just a bit but I want an opinion from a honest mechanic hopefully in my area that has a good experience on these cars. If you have someone you know that you can recommend please I would love suggestions. I think this car can run another 100K miles on the engine which has never given me any problems at all, so my idea would be to spend some money in it and run this car instead of buying a new one, anyone has some ideas on life line (+/-) of these engines? Anyway, let me know where you think I should take my car in my area.
