Stupid seatbelt response from dealer

So, my OCD is going into overdrive. My driver's side front seatbelt faces inwards when retracted, forcing me to twist it to buckle it in (does not properly stay flat across the body). I have tried to fix this myself by trying to double over the belt and refeed the buckle hole, but it's darn near impossible.

I took my car to the dealership for other minor service needs and mentioned something about this twisted seatbelt issue and they acted like I had 3 heads. They've now called and said everything is done on the car. When it came to my inquiry on fixing the seatbelt so that it buckles without twisting, they said 'it is supposed to be that way' and did nothing to fix it...this despite the fact that ALL 3 other seatbelts in the car are facing OUTWARDS and buckle without twisting. This is my first time taking my FX to this particular dealer because it is closer to my house...but it may be my last.

D@MN you OCD.

Yeah, I thought about that...but the bracket at the bottom is not flat, it bends outward and away from the seat.

That's the mounting bracket at the end of the seatbelt? So it only goes on one way?

That use to happen to me all the time and they couldnt fix it ....I did it myself , just twist the seat belt from the bottom bolt like said above.

This happens sporadically when my daughter twists the seat belts. I have always been able to reverse the buckle with the foldover method. Is the opening that much smaller on the second gen?

Hope you get it resolved soon.

Picked it up today and they fixed it anyways. Updated the software for shift points and had 'em tighten down the mirror housings using locktite. All better.
